The App Store license for Capitol Words is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms cover the game's online services and community features and supplement that license.
These terms do not replace or override Apple's agreement, its purchase rules, or your rights under applicable law. If there is a conflict, Apple's applicable terms and the law control. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Politics, humor & context
Capitol Words uses politics, public affairs, and current or historical events as settings for word puzzles. The game is for entertainment. Some themes and artwork use opinion, humor or satire; others refer to real subjects.
Capitol Words is an independent game. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any government, political party, candidate or campaign. It is also not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Wordscapes or PeopleFun.
Names of people, places and institutions may appear in puzzles. Their inclusion does not mean that a person committed misconduct or endorses the game. Allegations and investigations are distinct from established findings. Read any dated topic in that date's context; later reporting, appeals or decisions may change what is known.
A puzzle offers a brief view of its subject. For an error or concern, report the puzzle with its title, level or daily date, and the word or wording involved.
Fair shared play
Use the game's features to play, compete and help others fairly. Do not use bots, altered clients, exploits or false submissions to manipulate scores, duplicate rewards, bypass purchase checks or disrupt another player's game.
Keep player names, team names and messages respectful. Do not post threats, harassment, hateful material, impersonation, other people's private information or unlawful content. Use the report and block controls for concerns in team chat.
We may correct invalid scores or duplicate rewards and restrict shared features while investigating misuse. If you believe a restriction or correction is mistaken, contact support with your player ID if available and what happened.
Coins, boosters & rewards
Coins, hints, boosters, stars and other virtual items are for use through the game's features. They have no cash redemption value and are not cash prizes. Do not sell or trade game balances outside the game.
Event tokens and rewards follow the event's displayed eligibility rules and deadlines. Some items apply only to a named event. A reward can be claimed once where the game specifies a single claim.
Apple purchases, restores & refunds
Check the product, price, duration and any selected event shown before buying. Apple handles App Store payments. A milestone premium purchase applies to the event named at checkout; a delayed approval remains attached to that original event.
Use Restore Purchases in the Store to check eligible purchases with the Apple Account that bought them. Consumable purchases, such as coins and hints, cannot be restored through Apple's restore feature. For a charged purchase that has not arrived, get purchase help or contact support. Apple handles refund requests; eligibility depends on the purchase and applicable regional rules. These terms do not limit your statutory refund rights. Deleting a game account does not request a refund, and restoring a purchase does not recreate a deleted saved game. See the account-deletion guide.
Ad removal & optional reward videos
Eligible ad-removal benefits cover banners and ads between puzzles for the product or period shown. Optional reward videos may still be offered; you choose whether to watch one.
An offered video reward is delivered when the ad service confirms that it was earned. Closing a video alone does not earn its reward. Availability can vary. Advertising privacy choices are explained in the privacy policy.
Online features & changing events
Shared play and online updates need a working connection and a supported game version. Events, puzzle availability, schedules and scoring rules may change. Follow the eligibility, earning and claim deadlines shown for each event.
Online features may be unavailable during updates or repairs. If a problem affects a purchased benefit, contact support. Changes to online features do not override the purchase terms shown at checkout, Apple's refund rules or your rights under applicable law.
When these service terms change, this page will show the updated date.
Your information & account
Read the privacy policy for how saved progress, online accounts, community activity, purchases and advertising use information. The account-deletion guide explains how to delete your game account and its data, including help with an interrupted request.

Email support@runewords.online with Capitol Words in the subject. Include the puzzle, event or product involved and a short description. Keep passwords, full Apple Account details and payment-card numbers out of your message.
